Former Kalet Building, Investigation & Demolition Project

AECC was retained by the Music Theatre Festival (in 2009) to conduct a limited asbestos investigation and Phase I Environmental Site Assessment of the former Kalet Building, located at 1 State Street, in Auburn, New York.   In order to help facilitate the transaction of the building to Cayuga County, AECC completed soil vapor intrusion testing, a hazardous material investigation, hazardous material testing (asbestos, lead, PCB) of adjacent buildings, and asbestos monitoring during the abatement/demolition process for the City of Auburn (2010-2011).
